Skilled people who desire to migrate to a different country have to apply for a Skilled Migration Visa or PR Visa on the basis of the skills or highest qualifications they possess. This visa helps skilled people to build a career in a different country and contribute to that country’s economy.
Every country has laid certain criteria for selection which includes a point system generally. If they are qualified, they are invited to become a permanent resident of that country. Skilled Independent Visa (Subclass 189)

Applicants whose professions are not listed in the Skilled Occupation List can apply for permanent residence to Australia under the Skilled Nominated Visa (subclass 190). In this program, the candidate has to secure sponsorship from a state or territory in Australia along with 65 points. An additional 5 points are awarded if the applicant is nominated by an Australian State/Territory. The benefits of Subclass 190 are the same as the Skilled Independent Visa (Subclass 189).
